Olivia Nix is a strategy analyst within Global Energy & Sustainability supporting innovation and business development related to sustainability across the Building Efficiency business at Johnson Controls. As a part of the Institute, she conducts research and analysis on technologies, policies, and practices that drive more efficient and sustainable buildings.

Prior to joining Johnson Controls, Olivia worked on federal energy and transportation policy at the Natural Resources Defense Council and on the Solutions team at the Pew Center on Global Climate Change. At the Pew Center, Olivia focused on innovative energy policy in the states as well as emerging clean technology.  

Olivia received a B.A. in History of Science from Yale University and an MSc in International Public Policy from University College London.
